Students who don’t have a class scheduled during a given hour do NOT need to report to or remain at school during that hour.  Freshmen and Sophomore students do NOT need to attend their Advisory periods on Exam days.  Students who are not in a classroom for a final exam must leave campus or go to the cafeteria, which will be a quiet, supervised study area. No socializing, eating, etc. will be allowed in the cafeteria.  If students want to socialize, eat, etc., they will need to leave campus during open times in their final exam schedule.  Students are to leave the building immediately following their last exam of the day unless they are being supervised by a staff member. 

DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS – CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

Graduate Parents/Guardians:  Please see the attached Google Information Flyer on how to access school accounts after graduation. 

Central still has a number of yearbooks not picked up.  Please do so in room 119, before or after exams TODAY or TOMORROW. Books are still available for sale ($55) for cash, check (To: The Central Maroon), and online sales are open until Friday @  yearbookforever.com. For any inquiries, email Ms. Salfelder @  salfeldi@u4sd.org.  Parents of seniors -yearbooks make great graduation gifts! Also, if anyone would like to donate a book to a deserving senior who cannot afford a book, please contact Ms. Salfelder.

Freshmen signed up to take AP World history next school, please see Ms. Flugge or Ms. Sage in room 206 or 213 to pick up your summer assignment.

Attention juniors or seniors next year: If you have great attendance, are holding your own academically and would like to earn some money as part of your school day next year, please see Mr. Johnson in the Business Office on the 2nd floor (right next to room 227). There are two jobs available at this time. You will need to have some flexibility in your 2017-18 schedule. Stop in any time.

ATHLETICS

Attention boys interested playing soccer next year.  There is a brief meeting in the library lecture hall after school TODAY at 1:45p.  Please attend or contact Coach Clegg if you can’t attend.

Sports Physicals for CHS Student-Athletes for only $25: Champaign High School & Square 1 Healthcare will partner together to provide sports physicals for CHS student-athletes on June 2 for $25. Space is limited and you must sign up and pay in advance so please remember to return your parental consent form with payment to the athletic office at CHS ASAP. See the attached documents. Square 1 will donate 20% of all proceeds to Champaign Central high School Athletics. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Woods in the athletic office at 351-3933 or at woodsjo@u4sd.org. Square 1 will be at CHS in the lower library on June 2:

8:00am - 1p - Morning session

1:30 pm - 6p or as late as needed.

Please note, these are sports physicals only, and will not double as a freshmen physical.

COLLEGE AND CAREERS

Seniors, please do not forget to complete the surveys in Naviance.  Remember, in order to receive your cap and gown, you must complete all of the surveys.  See Mr. Tanner in the CCC if you need any help or have questions.  

College Works Painting is looking for hardworking students for summer work.  Students must be 18 or older.  Visit the employment opportunities tab on the College & Career Center's website for more information or see Mr. Tanner.
