Central H.S. Announcements for 01/22/2018


The Central High School Music Boosters proudly present the 9th Annual Trivia Night.  SaturdayFebruary 3th at Faith United Methodist Church.  This event includes dinner (6:00p) provided by Moe’s Southwest Grill, trivia competition (7:00p) hosted by Central’s Very OwnGary Slotnick, door prizes, snacks, and soda.  Raffles and silent auction will occur throughout the evening. Answers are submitted by your team; you are not required to answer questions individually.  Early Bird Registration fee is $200 through Jan 24th (this deadline has been extended to this Wednesday - after Jan 24th, registration fee is $220) for a team of up to 8 people.  Please visit our website at www.maroons.org/trivia or see our attached flyer.  Questions about Trivia Night can be directed to Janet Roadcap (jsroadcap@yahoo.com or 352-3249). 


Student Council will meet TOMORROW morning at 7:30a in the Library Lecture Hall.

Students interested in learning about racial identity development and becoming advocates for racial justice should consider joining RISE. RISE, the Racial Identity Student Experience, is comprised of students from Central, Centennial, and Novak and caring adults who wish to formulate a progressive understanding about race. All genders and gender expression are welcome. A light dinner will be provided. The next meeting is at Centennial TOMORROW in the library and room 127 from 4:00-5:30 pm. A bus will bring Central students to and from the meeting. Central students can see Ms. Flugge or Mr. Cooper.

Spanish Club will be celebrating Hispanic Cinema TOMORROW at 3:30p in room 115. Come and Join us!!! 

Asian American Association will meet for discussion TOMORROW at 3:45p in room 103.  Please contact Miss Long with any questions!

Yoga club will meet TOMORROW after school from 3:30p - 4:15p in the lower library. Bring your own mat if you have one.


Attention all football players. Mr. Woods has scheduled a meeting TODAY at 3:25p in the library lecture hall. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the football players an opportunity to assist in building the profile for our next head football coach. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 

If you signed up for athletic study hall for field and track you will be going to study hall TOMORROW - January 23rd

Attention all senior student-athletes. Have you committed to continue competing at the collegiate level next year? If so, please see Mr. Woods in the athletic office. We are in the process of scheduling our February signing celebration. 


Sophomores and Juniors, all Dual Credit and ECCA applications are due to Mr. Tanner by this FRIDAY.
